A boot for every US service person KIA in the War on Terror since 9/11. Arranged by State alphabetical order. Then each boot is tagged with the name of the service man or woman and the circumstances of their death.
As we were in Rhode Island - the circle of boots at the front were for the Rhode Islanders.
