A rocking chair styled after the "Sam Maloof" rocking chair. But after some study about the "rock period" of a rocking chair - plans were scaled to suit both my back and head rest position and the "moment arm" length of the chair adjusted to make for a nice even rock. The back slats are ash for some back rest "spring". Ash is incorporated in the rockers for the same reason.
Even Maloof used some fasteners which he plugged - but by adapting some of the joints and including plugs - I hope to make this an all-glued chair with no fasteners or plugs covering screws. @ April 2024 - Work in progess
