Woodwork
I am indebted to my school woodshop teacher Mr Hillhouse for his quiet demonstrations. He would mark up a piece of wood and teach you to saw it "....on the waste side - just SKLIFFING the line...." His endless patience as I twisted my good right eye over my dominant left hand making a mockery of his lesson to keep the eye, shoulder, elbow and wrist in line as you sawed the wood. But somehow it worked out.
