For a Colonial era Historic House to help visually disguise the radiator. To deal with the temperature extremes - the top was sealed in layers of epoxy and an aluminum plate fitted on the underside to help reflect heat outwards. The top is attached to the rails with cams set to "float" in slots in the rails to allow for dimensional changes.
